If I had to describe this movie in one word, it would be Insane. A High octane, fast paced insane racing movie that just poured pure action and balls to the walls speed into my eyes. The characters were all very enjoyable aswell. Sweet JP was by far the best though. Sonoshee was... ehh. she was a fine character, but felt a good bit underused. The Roboworld leaders/generals were great too, they always made me laugh or chuckle. But the best part of this was hands down the animation. The way that the cars bent the laws of physics while going... 300 km/H I think was phenomenal. The animation never failed to really emphasize the speed of the race with the stretching of the cars/characters, tears from pure wind speed, and blur. so much blur. If I had to base my rating just on these factors, I would give it an 8.5/10. But where this movie falls through is the Plot pacing. It feels rushed(no pun intended) in a lot of instances, and the plot kinda falls through. I feel like this really should have been a TV series instead, so that it would have had more time to flesh itself out and patch up some of the plot holes. Overall though, I would give this movie a 7.1/10

Saw this over the weekend (Saturday I think) with another friend, Quinn (his blog's here), and I personally really really enjoyed it! Comparatively to the other two Willy Wonka movies, I think this is the weakest of the three, but that by no means thinks that it was a bad watch. The musical elements made it for me aswell, they were all phenomenal. The music and Timothees singing was fantastic and really kept me engaged. "Scrub, Scrub" "Pure Imagination" and "Sweet Tooth" were all amazing songs. And the characters, oh they were all so unique. The corrupt cop, the chocolate monopoly, the workers that helped Wonka, I loved each and every one of them. Hugh Grant..... need I say more. What a perfect Oompa Loompa, his dry comedic approach made every scene with him enjoyable, but I do wish that he was a little more prevalent in the movie throughout. Overall though, it feels criminal to give this movie anything less than an 8.6/10.
This was a great movie. Plain and simple, I thought that this was a fantastic watch. The way that Chris Pratt plays his character is just phenomenal. The time where he is truly alone on the ship before he wakes up Aurora is such an incredible portrayal of loneliness and how it can drive a man insane. The way that over a year passed, yet it was condensed into 10-20 minutes was crafted beautifully. I also loved how the bar/bartender scenes were a clear homage to that of the bar/bartender scenes in The Shining. Jennifer Lawrence's character was played well aswell. Aurora was a decent character in my eyes, but I still think that Pratt's was superior in this movie. The shots outside the ship are drop dead gorgeous aswell. There really is not anything bad that I could quickly point out off the top of my head. 8.7/10
